Well, this is my first post on this forum, so hopefully you all don't mind if I introduce myself before I go into a bit more detail.
My name is Amelie, although any other nickname is fine; i'm 16 and i've been a Xeno fan since 2019.
The past year or so i've been especially obsessed with Xenosaga, and a online friend brought the spinoff Xenosaga: Pied Piper to my attention. After learning the game was for Vodafone japanese devices, I digged further and here's what I found.
The exact model of flip phone the game was supposedly released for is the Vodaphone V601SH, released in 2003 in japan.
The main selling point of the V601SH was connection to the i-mode service, which according to Wikipedia, was used to download Pied Piper.
V601SH's are rather easy to come by, and I found a cheap listing that ships to my region here.
As it turns out, the i-mode service is still available in the following regions, but sadly not where I live, Canada. At first I considered using a method to change the region such as a VPN, however the i-mode service relies on cellular connection, not wi-fi or bluetooth.
Is there anyone who'd be willing to work with me to possibly help retrieve the game? Let me know or send me a DM on instagram here.
Thank you very much for your time!
