    Looking through this all i have gotten a strong appreciation from preservation. I know people are scared of nintendo but do we know if people are privately keeping backups of xc2 media. It would be a shame to lose it all to time.

    Does anyone know what a fankit is? I downloaded the XS1 fankit from XenoUnderground and there is a folder called thumb which is just pictures of characters' waist?

    I think if I remember the context, a lot of official websites would release the pictures of the characters as a "fankit" in a zip file people could download so they could make forum signatures and stuff with them or print pictures for their binder or w/e.

    Sometimes they also included things like forum avatars or desktop wallpapers, but iirc the Xenosaga ones didn't. My best guess is they're from bamco's Xenosaga website from around before the release of the game. I could be mistaken though.

    I've been visiting XU and i got to say i really think its cool how much has been preserved. Everyone involved in the preservation of these games did a good job. Thank You!

    how come there are no scans of the xc2 artbook on here? Is that deliberate because the game is too recent or because no one has the book? I have the artbook that comes with the european limited edition version

    I'm iffy on hosting content that's still easily buyable from more recent Xenoblade games because I do not want to be sent to Mario jail. I apologize for the inconvenience.

    Sorry for how late this reply is, but yes a certain company makes hosting Blade content specifically quite hard and the XC3 artbook in particular has copyright information in it that prevents it from being translated into other languages.

    Likely crawling/indexing bots, some bots that want to be spam bots that we block through various methods from becoming users. I imagine we get some amount of lurkers on the site though, as people want to browse the content but most people don't want to register for forums.

    I have never used a forum before and i have no idea how to post something besides here so hopefully someone sees this.
