I was hoping for a remaster/remake of either the trilogy or at least the first episode of Xenosaga. But I also have an idea for two more characters via DLC. These characters mainly voice in combat but are generally mostly silent in cutscenes. Both characters are from StarCom (Star Combat), a small but elite paramilitary force of the Federation composed of highly trained soldiers. The two StarCom soldier characters are assigned to be ready to protect the Emulator from possible threats.

Miu Kimura: age 23, Japanese female, StarCom Heavy Weapons Specialist, Corporal
Primary Weapon: Minigun
Appearance: Dark Brown hair, brown eyes, light skin
StarCom Standard Issue Body Armor (black boots, medium tan with black trim), communications headset, minigun belt ammo feed
Personality: Tsundere, trigger happy, deadly spray and pray
First appearance: As the ship is attacked, Miu quickly arms up and proceeds to gun down hostiles with anger and her signature minigun. As the ship is overwhelmed, Miu takes an escape pod in a different area and her initial fate is unknown. Only towards mid-game does Tyler reunite with Miu and she joins the party.
Notes: She may be a bit on the frail side but she can really mow down many enemies, particularly the weaker ones. Basically a hard hitting glass cannon, specializing in raw damage.
"It's killing time!"

Tyler Brady: age 26, American male, StarCom Combat Medic, Junior Sergeant
Primary Weapon: Assault Rifle
Appearance: Orange hair, green eyes, medium skin
StarCom Medical Specialist Body Armor (black boots, medium tan with red trim and medical cross on back), medical kits on belt, Medic's Helmet
Personality: helpful, kind, relaxed, good doctor
First Appearance: Shion first meets him in the medical section of the ship after getting a call from him. He joins the party quite early in episode 1 as the ship is attacked by Gnosis. He takes a separate escape pod with the same trajectory.
Notes: Reasonably balanced with average combat and endurance but good healing and support abilities.
"I've got your back."

I am not too familiar with Starcom but that sounds like an interesting idea. Thanks for sharing!
