My (pen)name is Virgil, because somehow I like this character even though he can be an asshole at times. I am Xenosaga years old and I watched Xenogears (+Missing Year and Pied Piper), Saga and played all Blade games. I also read all the supporting material and a ton of wiki articles because otherwise this series is incomprehensible. In my opinion, the stories Xenosaga and Xenogears are works of art with high cultural values. I also love Xenoblade 2 because Malos and Jin are arguably the best characters in the series. My dream is to set up a team of talented people and recreate Xenosaga in whatever format is fitting (manga, book, game etc.) with all the cut content and as close to the original vision as possible. It would be nice if I could use XS DS engine to make a real game, but I do not have the expertise for something like that so if you are interested in recreating Xenosaga please contact me Also, I can speak Japanese fluently so I can help out with translations and stuff

Actually, I’m working on a fan-translation of Xenosaga DS (I’m very busy right now though, so the project is on hold, somehow), so I definitely take a note about this

Heya Virgil! Welcome to the board! You're in good company here, lots of us are working on various fan and archival projects. We hope to become a hub for such things related to Xeno so feel free to post anything you're working on.

PS: I always liked Virgil. He's complex and his story with Feb makes me want to cry.

Yeah, his story hit me hard through its emotional power. I certainly know that I am quite different from Virgil, but I guess there is a part in me which corresponds to his actions and ideals. Would be interesting to check my Enneagram Type and see which character it corresponds to - have you done the same already? Also, Virgil´s story (everything, from the heated arguments with Shion in Ep 1 to his parting in EP 3) made me realize the true quality and depth of Xenosaga and how Xenosaga surpasses Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and X in almost every aspect (at least storywise). I just love how he, despite being with the "bad guys", treats everyone the same. He speaks to Shion the same way as he speaks to the Testaments. That kind of fairness maybe is what I like or even admire about him. So he has a special place in my heart, kind of. Anyway I am extremely happy that there is a new forum for all the Xeno fans in the world and I am looking forward to a lot of enjoyable and profound exchange about this great series.
