I attempted butter chicken last night. (The rice is basically this recipe with brown rice.)

I love everything going on in this, especially the shallots; have you ever broiled it a bit at the tail end, or do you think that'd overdo it?
XD It's funny: the first time I made this dish I tried broiling it. But the only other thing I broil is the swiss cheese in onion soup, which takes about 5 minutes 45 seconds to brown nicely. I knocked a minute off for the mozzarella, but I ended up with this blackened leathery top. So I've just been baking the cheese.
But maybe if I tried broiling it for around a minute instead . . .
