Favorite Minor Characters

We all know the popular fan favorites like Reyn or Albedo, but what minor characters do you guys appreciate?

I stan all things Captain Matthews. I really don't know why but I've always loved him and might have written a short MatthewsxOC fic with a friend in high school lol.

I also love Kasandra from Xenoblade 2. Her design is super cute and I feel so bad for her and her bad luck ):

I like most of the characters in all the Xeno games so it's hard to pick...

Assistant Scott from XS is an obvious choice for me. I don't know if Tolone from XG counts as minor, but she's also a favorite. Linada from XB deserved more screen time. Sheba in XB2 was great... There are so many good characters!

Oh, also, I was thinking about this randomly the other day but you know what other unlikely Xenosaga character I appreciate? That's right, motherfreakin' SELLERS. I mean arguably he's covered under the "U-TIC/Ormus" clause of my previous post but I would just like to highlight that we absolutely stan a shameless evil bastard who may or may not also be a Dr. Strangelove reference.

Considering how episode 3 did a pretty damn good job of wrapping up the series prematurely, I always found it super ominous how they intentionally left him alive and he just floats away while the party does nothing. Makes me wonder if they had plans for him in the future episodes, which I would not complain about at all

Not sure if he counts as a minor character, but Sigurd is one of my favorite non-playable characters. His backstory is so full of potential that I wish was explored, besides retellings in game and that one manga chapter.

If not Sigurd, then Franz. Because Franz. :p

I would say maybe Xenogears Hammer, since he has his own character arc, and I think it's interesting to see what the little guy who isn't the main cast do when under pressure. I also love Captain Matthews, how can you not love a booze cruiser?

Xenogears:
- Big Joe xD He cracks me up. I love how he just shows up when you least expect him, and has some Hidden Lore that you can find in Zeboim. Best backstory ever
- The nurse on the Yggdrasil also cracks me up. ("Is there anyone who is almost dead, with no arms and legs, or in need of an abdominal operation? No one? Well, that's depressing.")

Xenoblade 1:
- Desiree. I can relate to her situation a lot, and
when I learned she was Xord's daughter, my mind was blown. Made me appreciate both her & Xord that much more.
- Berryjammy best nopon girl <3

Xenoblade 2 & Torna:
- Vale best rare blade <3
- I know Rynea only shows up in a flashback, & we know almost nothing about her (other than some stuff that Lora & a couple npcs said), but that lack of information really gets my imagination going!
In other words, I started making some headcanons about her, & it made me get really attached to her

I just liked mystery of Nephilim character, it was interesting because she was a soul that lived for so long and she was kinda like a guide for characters. She had quite interesting story but it wasn't showed in any games...

Throwing in for Hammer Xenogears and Hammer Xenosaga as well as the crews of the Thames, Yggdrasil, Durandal, and Elsa in general, including the droids (I love you ADONIS <3)

I also love all the Foundation NPCs except anyone who treats Jr. like a child, they are not smiled upon by U-DO 😔

As far as XBC2 goes, I have grown to love Gorg and Wulfric. They had some of my favorite blade quests that endeared me to them.

I thought the queen of Uraya was pretty neat idk.
