Erin's Xenosaga junk

The dog drawing is very good XD!
Ah, thank you! I always have difficulty drawing the legs, so I kind of hid them to make it easier for myself. (Of course, I have the same problem drawing human characters' legs.) 😅

The holidays were pretty stressful this year so I haven't been drawing much, but here are a few sketches from December.
Two drawings of MOMO in profile, in her outfits from XSIII and XSI respectively. Colored pencil drawing of Ziggy, Juli, MOMO, and Alby standing together, with the words 'I am safe' written in ink to one side.

I was also watching some anime from the 1990s and tried drawing MOMO in that style. It came out pretty ridiculous, but I guess it's at least thematically relevant to her magical girl-influenced design from Episode I.

some recent-ish sketches of excellent quality:

Fixed. ❤

Ziggy looks so peaceful in the first sketch. I like to think he's sitting on the edge of MOMO's bed, after she's gone to sleep.

The pen makes me think of those "this kitten is two sauce packets long" pictures. ❤

I  Juli I am swooning over that three-quarter portrait!

The Sauer-Mizrahis! (The Mizrahi-Sauers? :D) I have a feeling when MOMO gets really  intense about something (upper right), Ziggy feels his energy reserves depleting (upper left.) Then Juli gets ticked off at Ziggy (lower right), but they kiss and make up by the end of the day (lower left.) And Juli will always be beautiful to Ziggy (center.)

Ziggy and MOMO look so quiet and gentle, here. I feel like they're quietly deriving comfort from each other.

Gorgeous MOMO profile! 😍

Juli: "My plan to lure you into my clutches has worked perfectly."
Ziggy: "I can accept this outcome."

Wonderful sketches! 😍💖💗😃💝💜💗💖😍

I really love your linework, in both traditional and digital media, and the pencil especially has so much texture that I adore. The hatching and crosshatching on the third piece stands out to me in particular. Their faces are always so expressive, and the love you have for these characters radiates from the page every time. I'm also sentimental for any time an artist photographs the tools they used to create a piece, so please give my regards to that mechanical pencil; it helped you produce a gorgeous work.

Still very much out of practice, but here are a few more sketchbook outtakes from 2023-2024, and some doodles from a Drawpile session earlier this year.

A collage of traditional-media sketches of Ziggurat 8, Juli Mizrahi, and MOMO from Xenosaga, mostly in pencil although there is one of Episode 1 MOMO roughly colored in with markers

Digital sketches of MOMO, Juli, and Ziggy

More recently I've been trying to get back into a digital art flow that feels intuitive for me since my old tablet stopped working (and also I kind of just don't have the time or inclination to sit down at my desk and spend hours hyperfocusing on stuff the way I used to), so my compromise for now is clumsily coloring in sketches on my phone when I've got a minute.

Juli started as a pencil sketch that I scanned.

This one I did from scratch on Father's Day. You can really see where I half-assed the ... everything. AI wishes it could draw hands that badly. ;P
