Hey, everyone. You may have seen me lurking here; odds are you probably haven't because I've kept my activity minimal, but I plan on being more active now that yurievinstitute.org is live! It's a bit bare-bones right now, but I wanted to have something nice to bring to the table for U.R.T.V. week this year ^^ I have quite a few other pages I'm working on for the site, but I'm most excited to post the scanlation work I have in progress. I can't make any promises about when, but I'll try not to keep you all waiting too long for new content.

I'll be posting essays and other fanworks that don't fit on FFn or AO3, and I'm also accepting submissions! I'd love for this site to be a really comprehensive place for U.R.T.V. fanworks in general, not just my own (with all due credit, of course). I have a page made for visual art as well, it's just not published right now because I have nothing to put on it. Send me what you'd like me to post here or on Twitter (currently not accepting anything through email) and I'll get around to it as soon as possible! Be sure to include what you'd like me to link back to as credit for your art/fanfiction/etc.

Thank you all! I hope you enjoy!

Hey there! Welcome and congrats on the website launch! It looks great so far (the layout gives me that circa-Y2K/vaporwave-era internet vibe that I absolutely love, and I wish more websites were still made like that). Thanks so much for sharing your work!

I've seen your fanfics before btw Yuriev, they're pretty good.

I grew up to learn to appreciate every piece of art I see, even if it isn't my thing.

I'm currently writing one as well. 0/

BTW, here is a scanlated doujinshi about the U.R.T.V. :

Thank you so much for this, Valkyrie! This is one I'm lucky to own IRL and it's beautiful. It's awesome to see some translation efforts from years ago and not to have to start from scratch on everything.

Thank you for all your hard work! I've been trying to fumble my way through this too and am in a similar boat re: lack of free time but it's important to me and I'm glad there are still people who care. If you want to compare notes sometime, let me know; I'm also wondering if we could officially reach out to some of these artists to get their permission to translate their work, now that the internet is much smaller and it's easier to reach out than it was in the early 00s. I have some Xenogears doujinshi I got a while back too (mostly Bart/Fei) that I've never gotten around to scanning, either.
